Blind Lake sits just off the Kachura road, screened by willows and sand — a lake with no visible outflow, which is where the name comes from.
It is small, calm and far quieter than Shangrila, which makes it a good early-morning stop for photographers before the tour buses reach the resort.
The shoreline mixes sand and grass, and local families use it for picnics through the summer.
