   Long drive up the KKH with stops on the way.

2. Day 2

   Chilas to Skardu

   Indus gorge road into Baltistan.

3. Day 3

   Kachura and Katpana

   Lakes in the morning, desert at sunset.

4. Day 4

   Deosai

   Jeep day across the plateau.

5. Day 5

   Shigar

   Fort, Blind Lake and Sarfaranga.

6. Day 6

   Khaplu

   Drive east, Khaplu Palace and Chaqchan Mosque.

7. Day 7

   Skardu to Chilas

   Return journey begins.

8. Day 8

   Chilas to Islamabad

   Arrive in the evening.
